About
Blackhall Place is located on the fringe of the Smithfield area of Dublin, adjacent to Dublin’s Law Society.

The client’s brief was to completely redevelop the existing office building, converting it into residential use and adding a new block to the rear of the site.

We were instructed to create the amenity spaces at ground and basement floor levels, design and specify the common areas and all of the apartment types to create a unified and coherent whole.

The design concept takes inspiration from the Law Society, the Jamesons Distillery and the site’s context. The material and colour palettes create a series of vibrant amenity spaces with an identity that subtly flows through into the communal areas and bedrooms.
